Preservation Missouri Award for their work on Wilhoit Plaza, in just five
years, the Matt Miller Company has renovated over 250,000 square feet of
historic building space in five historic rehabilitation projects. Using tax
credits to help repurpose the existing structures and breathe new life into the
surrounding community, the company continues to make large strides in Historic
Tax Credit Redevelopment, proving that the answer to the problems of the future
can often be found in our past.

Matt E. Miller
Since diving headfirst into the industry with the purchase of his first
piece of property at age 19, Matt Miller has surged to the forefront of real
estate development in the region. A graduate of Southwest Missouri State
University with a degree in Real Estate Finance, Miller has played an integral
role in the revitalization of Downtown Springfield, and a number of other
notable projects in the area, helping to produce strong buildings and even
stronger communities.
Over the years, Matt Miller
has gained a significant amount of real estate development experience. From
conception to construction, ownership and property management, the Miller name
and brand has garnered the respect of those in the industry and surrounding
communities. Be it the Matt Miller Company; Miller Commerce, MSRP, LLC; or the
Miller-O’Reilly Company – all are synonymous with success. Matt serves on the Springfield Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Care to Learn Foundation Board of Directors.

Miller cut his teeth on urban redevelopment. After establishing a reputation in
historical tax credit projects, Miller decided to expand his focus to include
multi-family green developments and then moved into sustainable affordable
housing. From development to construction, urban renewal to sustainable living,
Miller brings a knack for establishing a vision, creating partnerships and
managing the development and construction process.
